What is your favourite tree at this time of year?

Mines the Ginkgo Biloba with its almost fluorescent yellow/green fancy foliage, Autumn is dramatic.

What is your favourite tree at this time of year?
Nobody said Dimi tree... I am thoroughly disapointed.
Reply:Douglas Fir...

I%26#039;m all about the Christmas trees.
Reply:um.....maple i guess. dark reds
Reply:In my yard it%26#039;s the pecans. They start dropping me free food, which really does taste great.
Reply:Mine is the big evergreen trees%26#039; as they sway in the wind; like big forms trying to stay put; where the;ve been for a hundred or so years,
Reply:Aspen - nothing like driving up into the mountains on the weekend to look at all the shimmering golden foliage.
Reply:Bradford pear
Reply:Prunus shirotae (Mount Fuji Flowering Cherry) has just finished flowering, at the peak was a mass of double/semi double white flowers
Reply:No question - it%26#039;s the Maple Tree!
Reply:Whatever kind of tree that doesn%26#039;t have leaves or needles that I have to rake!
Reply:The Red Maple, fantastic this time of year.
Reply:Suger Maple the colors are WOW !!
Reply:The tree in the patch of grass outside my house: it%26#039;s still green. It%26#039;s such a retarded tree: the last to die and the last to bloom, but that%26#039;s why I like it: I have a reminder of Summer in Fall and a reminder of Winter in Spring.

P.S.: It%26#039;s a maple tree :)
Reply:Japanese maples - they take on various colors and still have the very neat leaf shapes.
Reply:ever green tree
Reply:Oh Tannenbaum, oh Tannenbaum

Wie grĂ¼n sind deine pine needles
Reply:My Favorites are my dogwood trees. Their leaves are changing into such beautiful colors, yet they are covered with so many bright red berries. The birds love the berries and flock to the trees. They are just so pretty:)
Reply:Love the honey locust, just as long as it is not near a door to my house. :)
