Need some help on focusing?

I would like some advise, here recently I have started to have trouble focusing. (my mind). I start daydreaming and loose focus on the task at hand. It is not so much at work that bothers me but it does bother me in class. I am currently a junior at Stephen F. Austin State University, I have worked very hard to get where I am at and I refuse to give up. I currently take St John%26#039;s wort and ginkgo biloba. I do not take drugs such as ridilen or adderal because they make me space out and I have no clue what is going on. I would like to thank you for your advise It will be taken seriously (if it is a serious answer)

Need some help on focusing?
You do not have ADD. I too had this problem my last year of graduate school. I had so much going on in my life at that time, it was difficult to focus on my studies. I first examined my diet, which was quite poor (due to long hours at internship, part time job, being a wife, caring for my home, etc...) So, I went to GNC, and purchased a detox kit, and performed a detox flush on myself. I instantly felt better, slept better at night, and felt lighter on my feet. I think I detoxed for about 3 days and then gradually resumed a normal, but clean diet. Next, I examined my sleeping habits, which were erratic. I would stay up late, burning the midnight oil, and wake up early to start all over again. I was just plain worn out. Also, I was skipping workouts at the gym, which I normally would do during the early morning. Well, I was now cramming in a workout at night, which was also not good for my sleep. So, I made a concerted effort to go to sleep earlier, develop a consistent sleep schedule, to include the weekends when I would typically stay up late and sleep in. Also, I don%26#039;t know why this works, but put a little peppermint oil under your nose when you study and it gives you an instant lift. You two can purchase this at GNC or any kind of health food store. I had this gorgeous %26quot;tree hugger%26quot; friend in grad school named Lisa. She was a total health freak, fit body, taugt yoga. Well, she taught me that little trick, and she was a straight a student. I did find that it kept me focused, especially as I bullshitted my way through essays (LOLOLL!). Well, I would actually lay off St. John%26#039;s Wort for a while, and take a multi-vitamin like GNC%26#039;s Mega Men%26#039;s. It%26#039;s great. My hubby takes it, and it gives him energy. Okay, hope this helped.
Reply:you need something stronger for focusing it sounds like your mind is racing with thoughts and you cant focus on just one thing, any anti-depressant will work go see the dr and ask him what he thinks is best for you and stop the st, john;s and the ginkgo it can be toxic taking them with an anti-depresssant
Reply:Try masturbating... It%26#039;s the answer to everything.
Reply:i do the same thing, I%26#039;m not going back to school until i can find a cure, I%26#039;m just not meant to sit in a class room
Reply:How about Stratera? Sounds like a form of adult ADD or something. My son has ADD/OCD with tourettes and he can%26#039;t take Ridilen and such because it will make his tics worse. So they put him on Stratera because it%26#039;s a non-stimulant. The only side effect he had was a sore stomach now and then. It stopped though after a while. He%26#039;s not lethargic at all.
Reply:i think you have a.d.d i have it you should go get check for it its to wear you cant focus on anything for long periods of time
Reply:it sounds like the class or classes you are taking are either beneath your intelligence or just boring, if you have an opportunity, take a course in something fun. it will relieve the stress and help you focus on your other classes
Reply:Listen to classical music.Try it! It really helps.(According to the scientists)

Reply:I admire your will to persevere. I used to take ginkgo and it helped for a while, but then it stopped. But heres what helped me. I imagined what I felt like the first couple times I took it. I remembered the focus it gave me. I don%26#039;t have a concentration problem now.

We can learn from a drug and not need to take it all the time. I have no experience with the St. John%26#039;s but it could be a similar thing with the way it affects your mood. That%26#039;s just speculation though.

Good Luck!
