Dog eating pills?

While I was away, my cat knocked my medicine off the nightstand and I keep my medicine in one of those day sorter things. My dog got into it and ate Immonium AD, an AZO standard, and two ginkgo biloba pills. My town has no emergency vet service. What should I do?

Reply:Call the humane society or your vet. They will connect you or give you an Emrgency number to call. Do this Quickly! Call any veternarian in the phone book if u have too.
Reply:Look in you phone book for an emergency vet and call them. Or sometimes there is a pet hotline for pioson control on the package. But tell the vet what happened and that you have no way to reach him and ask for their advise.
Reply:Call poison control. There are far worse pills your dog could have ingested and I%26#039;m thinking he%26#039;ll be okay, but it doesn%26#039;t hurt to check. They might suggest you induce vomitting with hydrogen peroxide if it happened within the last half hour. If you%26#039;re not sure when it happened, then you%26#039;ll have to watch for symptoms and get him to a vet as soon as you can if you notice anything. I hope he%26#039;s okay!!
Reply:the dog is going to be ok.The best thing would be to give him or her a hearty meal that fills their stomach completly.Give plenty of water and it will be fine.
Reply:Have you called Poison control? I don%26#039;t know if they do anything for animals, but try it. They might! If not, you%26#039;re going to have to find your nearest ER vet. You cannot take any chances. Even if you have to commute a ways.
